So Jesse (my husband) came home the other day with a new project… an old chair to reupholster. He found it at our local Salvation Army store for only $11.00! For a while now, we have been on the look out for a “chair with potential” for our first attempt at reupholstering, but up until now, haven’t found one that is both affordable and one we like a lot. Having never attempted to reupholster anything, our experience is very limited and we have heard from many sources that it is a very challenging process. But for $11.00, we figured if it was a flop it would not be a hug loss.
So far, the process actually hasn’t been as daunting as we anticipated!;) I wanted to share a brief sneak peek of the chair and what we have done so far. Final photos will be posted when the project is finished!:)
I hope you have a wonderful weekend!:) I will be running my first 10mile race with a good friend and fellow blogger, Julie. :) I am excited to run… should be a great adventure!:)
Enjoy your day!

Love this chair, Melissa:) Have an awesome time running! You are gonna do awesome!!:)
You better put Jesse back to work on that chair – you will need a nice long sit after Saturday! ;) Looking forward to it!
I love the Salvation Army. What a fantastic project. I can’t wait to see the finished product. Greatest of luck running this weekend with your friend Julie. You two are an inspiration! Cheers!
