The mobilization meeting of the Quality Accreditation of Studying in China for International Students

On the morning of 15th March, the university held the Mobilization meeting of the Quality Accreditation of Study in China for International Students in Conference Room 1 of the university administration building. The meeting was held by the university Vice President Yuan Decheng, deans and department leaders from relevant colleges and departments attended the meeting, the university President professor Xu Guangwen made an important speech during the meeting.

First, Vice President Yuan highlighted the importance and necessity of our university participates in the Quality Accreditation of Studying in China for International Students. Then, the Vice Dean of the International Education School Wang Liang described the Accreditation standards and Accreditation procedures in detail, and the Dean of the IES, Professor Chen Weiru made a detailed division of labor.

In the end, the university President Xu Guangwen gave a mobilization speech, and gave six recommendations about how to improve the work of the Quality Accreditation of Studying in China for International Students: First, we need to fully recognize that the Quality Accreditation of Studying in China for International Students is a very important cause with historical meanings, and all relevant departments and colleges should attach great importance to it. Second, even though the Accreditation is a relatively complicated cause, but the university had a solid foundation in this area, and we need to show it with great confidence and work together to achieve a high mark. Third, in order to finish this cause, all colleges and departments have to work together with the IES with passion. Fourth, the university hopes the IES will continue act as the leader and coordinate works of different colleges and departments. Fifth, we need to seize the historical moment that the state is supporting the universities to take in more international students, win over greater support from the state, and strive for a higher level. Sixth, all relevant departments should focus more on the evaluation work during the whole accreditation process.
